Sweetscents - Part 2 (Swatches)

I have finally made the Sweetscents swatches like I promised you in one of my previous posts.

Until now I have tried mineral eyeshadows from Meow Cosmetics, Everyday Minerals, The She Space and Sweetscents. So I can compare them.

Sweetscents shadows are very fine, good pigmented, easy to apply and to blend. I am very satisfied with them. But unfortunately in our country (Slovenia) all shades aren't available.

I used Avon Anew Lifting Eye Shadow in Bare for base. So let me show you the photos of swatches I've made...

On the left is Earthtones Taupe which is kind a beige/grey colour with fine silver shimmer, very useful for everyday occasions.
And on the right is Chameleon. This one is really intersting, like the name Chameleon says it changes colours from brown to green.

Here are next three colours from left to right: Plumm Shimmer is very intense purple colour with fine shimmer. I find very useful in combination with other purple colour I have. Moonstone Purple is more silver/purple colour. And Midnight Burgundy is very dark burgundy red with red/gold shimmer (to me it looks just like Blackstar Red).

On this photo are Blackstar Green - lovely dark green colour and Blackstar Red that looks like Midnight Burgundy above.

My Daily Facial Routine

Today I'm going to tell you something about my daily facial care. We all know how hard it is to find the perfect cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Well, after years of searching I have finally found "the trio" that works for me :) And I just had to share them with you.


I have combination skin with oily t-zone and on the top of that my skin is also very sensitive. So I had spent a lot of time and money before I have found the products that actually work.

- Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash: It's a mild, antiseptic rinse off cleanser which leaves the skin clean, smooth and refreshed.


- Avene Thermal Water: I can't actually use toners, because my skin reacts with redness and itchy feeling, so I have got this spring water in spray and it works for me. It tones the skin, soothes all my sensitive areas around the nose, mouth and on my chin.


- Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturizer: I can't say how much I love this moisturizer... It's very light, easily absorbed and leaves my skin moisturized, toned and a bit glowing. I like the smell too - very gentle Rose smell which isn't very strong or annoying. And what is important too is that my t-zone doesn't get oily so quickly.

Sweetscents (Part 1)

Today I'm going to show you my Sweetscents Mineral Eyeshadows.


When I joined to Ars Cosmetica Forum I saw all the gorgeous swatches from Sweetscents eye shadows and I just had to buy some :D
