Here are the swatches from the other two Avon's Arabian Glow polishes. I used three coats for both of them. These two shimmery shades aren't very well pigmented either.

Song of the day: Coldplay - Viva la Vida

NOTD: Avon (Arabian Glow) Teal Infusion

I've ordered some Avon's polishes from Arabian Glow line recently. And here is the first shade I've choosen to wear - Teal Infusion. I liked the shade a lot in the catalog, it also looked good in the bottle when I received it. But after I started polishing my nails, I was a bit disappointed, because it's not very well pigmented and I had to used 3 coats, but otherwise I had no problems with the application. It also leaves slightly visible brush strokes behind, but that can be fixed with a layer of topcoat.

I like the colour, despite all above mentioned troubles. This shimmery Teal Infusion is a lovely shade for summer days, I guess.

I love Zoya polishes, I think they just might be my favourite! Great formula, easy application, amazing shades...

My Favourite Perfume - Max Mara EdP

I'm sorry for not posting more often lately, but I've had horrible headache for the last three days. Finally, today I got some prescription drugs - painkillers that are actually strong enough to make my headache go away :S


I just wanted to show you my all time favourite perfume. I've had many - from Hugo Boss Deep Red and Femme; Lolita Lempicka; Versace Woman, Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy; Escada: Moon Sparkle, Rockin' Rio, Sunset Heat, Island Kiss; Max Mara Edp, etc...

And I can honestly say that Max Mara EdP is my number 1. I've just bought my third bottle :D

NOTD: Barry M Coral

Nekaj dni nazaj je spletna trgovina Ličila.si, ki prodaja kozmetiko znamke Barry M, slovenskim blogerkam ponudila zastonj izdelek v zameno za oceno in swatche. Seveda nisem smela zamuditi te priložnosti :)

Couple of days ago, Slovenian web store that sells Barry M Cosmetics - Ličila.si offered us bloggers free product in exchange for review and swatches. I just couldn't have missed opportunity like that :)


Prejela sem lak za nohte v odtenku "Coral" in to je moj prvi Barry M lak. Do zdaj sem slišala same dobre stvari o njihovih lakih in moja ocena ne bo prav dosti drugačna...
Nisem imela nobenih težav pri nanosu, tekstura je namreč kremna, se gladko nanaša in je popolnoma enakomerna ter prekrivna po dveh nanosih.

I received a nail polish in "Coral" and it's my first Barry M nail polish. I've read only good things about these polishes so far and this review won't be much different...
I had no problems with application, because the formula is smooth, creamy and totally even after two coats.


Moje fotografije so malo netočne kar se barve tiče, odtenek namreč izgleda malo preveč rdeč na meni. V resnici je malo bolj oranžen, takšen kot bi pač moral biti koralen odtenek. Vseeno mislim, da je ta odtenek super za vroče poletne dni in večerne zabave :))

This pictures are a bit colour inaccurate, this shade looks a bit too red on me, it should be slightly more orange-y, like coral shade probably should look like. Anyway, I think it's a great shade for hot summer days and evening parties :))

Zagotovo bom kupila kakšen lak Barry M, imam namreč nagledanih nekaj čudovitih modrih odtenkov.

I've picked out shade 03 Meet Me at the Club for today's nails which is my favourite of the collection. It's a shimmery purple shade, non-problematic at all.



I've almost forgotten to mention it - these polishes also smell delicious :))

NOTD: China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic

This one was on my wish list for ages and after seeing it at Krex, I decided to order it immediately.


It's a beatiful shimmery peacock blue shade and it was released as a part of *Rodeo Diva* Collection for Fall 2008.

I apologize for lousy pictures and sloppy application, but I've had too many iced coffees today. It was very hot outside and I just couldn't stop drinking it. Because of such amount of caffeine my hands were all shaking and I guess it wasn't a good idea to paint my nails at that time... *blush*

Anyway, here it is. I used two coats, pictures were taken outside.

Song of the day: Faith No More - Easy

NOTD: Zoya Charla

Few days ago I bought some gorgeous polishes and one of them was this beauty - Zoya Charla from the *Sparkle* Collection for Summer 2010.


This colour is hard to describe - on their official website is described as: "Tropical blue sparkling metallic. An expensive-looking metallic shade for summer." But I think this one is so much more...

Just look:





It's sort of green-ish blue and has gold, so called, glass-flecked shimmer (not shimmer, but not glitter either) in it. I used 2 coats, pictures were taken outside.

NOTD: Essie Turquoise & Caicos

Here is the last of my Essie Resort Collection polishes (I gave Playa del Platinum away) - Turquoise & Caicos. Beautiful turquoise shade with creme finish like the others from this collection. Again, this one was also a bit hard to work with. It was runny and sheer. I used two thick coats.

About the Resort collection - I love the colours, but I was a bit disappointed about the formula, especially compared to the Art of Spring collection. Those were creamy, smooth and so easy to apply.


I think I won't get anything from the Summer collection. How about you?

My Mini Makeup Shelf & Nail Polish Stash

My computer freezes few times a day, so I can hardly make a post here. It's time to buy a new one, for sure. This one has accompanied me for seven years and I think it's time for retirement now.


I don't have any "NOTD pictures" for you, but I'm going to show you my makeup and nail polish stuff and how I have them "organized" (organized isn't appropriate word, because my makeup stash is far from being that way *lol*).
I got the idea for this post from Vesna at Beauty Addict when she showed us her makeup stash.

I must say, my makeup stash is small compared to all of you out there, who are makeup & beauty bloggers. I'm more focused on nail polishes :))

I keep all those products that I use daily or at least very often on a small shelf my dad made me. All the other stuff that I used only now and then are hidden in various boxes in my wardrobe between T-shirts, jeans or where ever I find some space to store them.
Let's take a look...
