NOTD: Catrice Sold Out Forever & Contest Winner

I've been neglecting my blog lately... But for a good reason - I've been babysitting my 3,5 year old niece these days. I had to get up at 5 a.m. to get to my sister's before she and her boyfriend went to work. And when I got home late in the afternoon, I didn't have the energy to do anything.


I also broke few of my nails while playing with her, so they are very short again. I've been wearing Catrice Sold Out Forever for the last 3 days and I like it :)
It's a mint green shade with very fine and subtle shimmer in it.

Here it is, 2 coats:

Barry M Order & Swatches

I got my first Barry M order yesterday. I didn't order much, just few items to see how some other their products are, beside nail polishes.

NOTD: Alessandro (mini) 253

For the last couple of days I've been wearing Alessandro nail polish number 253. It's one from the mini series.

What we got here is a shimmery coral shade. Nothing special, but the golden shimmer gives that something extra to it (I'm a sucker for shimmer, but you all know that by now :D ).

It's going off today, because I've got so many new make up goodies and nail polishes and they are all waiting in line to be tried out :D

NOTD: Sinful Colors Aqua

It's been so freakin' hot here this week. Temperatures are around 35°C and I'm dying for something cool and refreshing. I was also really lazy these days, just drinking iced coffees or eating ice cream and doing pretty much nothing...


I finally have some NOTD for you. I've decided to put on Sinful Colors Aqua (how appropriate). It's a shimmery aqua blue/green (turquoise) with beautiful golden sheen. It leaves slightly visible brush strokes behind (kind of metallic finish), but this can be fixed with a layer of top coat (except I ran out of top coat last week and still haven't bought new one).

The application was good and easy. The polish is slightly on the sheer and runny side, I've used 2 coats.

NOTD: Diamond Cosmetics Hue Are You? & Essie MAY

This is the other Diamond Cosmetics nail polish I own - Hue Are You? And boy, it's hard to describe this one... Some call it burgundy and foil, other say it's a maroon shade or red/bronze, I also read it's a pinkish/reddish colour. Hmmm?

It definitely has sort of magenta/purple base after one layer. But after adding the second layer, I would say it's a deep, dark and rich red/brown shade filled with tons of strong gold shimmer.

I've decided to put a layer of Essie Matte About You over it. And here is the result:

Song of the day: Kid Rock - All Summer Long

NOTD: Diamond Cosmetics Never So Evergreen

Lately I just didn't know what to put on my nails. Too many polishes and I just couldn't decide to pick one out...


Finally, I've picked Diamond Cosmetics polish in Never So Evergreen. I only have two DC polishes, but I'd sure like some more :D

This one is beautiful dark, smokey, slightly grey-ish green shade filled (mostly) with golden and green shimmer. I used two coats, the polish applies smoth and even.

I know it's not exactly a summery shade, but I love it anyway... What do you think?

Song of the day: Life of Agony - My mind is dangerous

NOTD: Essence Ready To Be Bitten

Here is the next polish from Essence Eclipse TE - 05 Ready To Be Bitten. It's a sheer white polish with beautiful golden glass-flecked shimmer in it.

I think this will be my "safe" colour for every occasion.

I used two thicker coats, application and texture were good, drying time average.

Song of the day: Simply Red - It's only love

NOTD: Essence Don't Bite Me - Kiss Me

Since yesterday I've been wearing Essence 03 Don't Bite Me - Kiss Me from Eclipse TE. It's a lovely shimmery berry shade. Shimmer is very fine and subtle. The polish applies nicely, it's a bit on a thicker side, but non problematic. I used 2 coats to get the full coverage.

Swatch: Avon (Color Trend) Ice Sheers

Today I have some more swatches of Avon's polishes. These are from Color Trend line and they are scented. Like the name says - Sheers, they are really very sheer.

I used 3 coats for all, photos were taken outside under direct sunlight.

Today is very hot here, probably the hottest day so far. The temperatures are around 30-33°C, so something icy and refreshing sounds good ;)
