10 Facts We Now Know About Sunscreen

I really wanted to share this article with you for some time now... The Summer is almost here and we really should be thinking about how to protect our skin from the Sun.

I was contacted by Florine Chruch at US PharmD website and asked, if I would be prepared to share very interesting reading about sunscreen and facts about it.

"With summer on the horizon, we know it’s time to slather on the sunscreen and reapply, but how much do we really know about this magical lotion that’s said to protect against sunburn and prevent skin cancer? For all the mysteries that still remain about the sun and how it affects us, we can rest assured knowing that we have these 10 facts about sunscreen covered..."

  1. Yap, uporabljam sončne kreme. =) Ampak moram priznati, da ne redno. Ravno zadnjič sem kupovala kremo za obraz z zaščitnim faktorjem 30. In kaj sem ugotovila?

  5. I do. But not consistently. I am allergic to chemical sunscreens and mineral sunblock is expensive. If I use it as directed, a ten dollar tube of mineral sunblock would be gone in three uses. Talk about a budget buster! lol

I have skin that will tan right through sunblock, anyway. *shrugs* I figure that wearing sunblock as much as I can and avoiding the sun during peak hours is about the best I can do, especially where I live. :)
