Born Pretty Store Dotting Tools - Photos & Review

Ugh, I'm so late on this review... Set of dotting tools I'm reviewing today, was part of the package I received from Born Pretty Store for consideration.

Here are some pictures of 5pcs set of the 2 way dotting tools:

I have never used this kind of tools before, so I was a bit afraid it would be to hard for me to make a decent looking manicure with these, that the dots I'll make won't exactly look like dots etc. Oh, boy, I was wrong! These are so easy to handle and even beginners like me, can do some nail art by using them. (Well, I do need a bit practice, though *lol*).

You can find this set at the Born Pretty Store and it costs 4,74$.

Also, you can still use my code BIBASK31 to get 10% off your order!

As you may know, I have two left hands when it comes to nail art. I tried to do some konading before and failed miserably. *lol*

But on the other hand, I just love polka dots and other sorts of dots manicures I've seen on other blogs and wanted it to try it myself. And since I have the dotting tools, I've decided to give it a go...

This is what came out (please, don't be to hard on me ;)):

I used P2 nail polish in Chic, Essence Colour&Go polish in Movie Star for the accent finger and above presented dotting tools. Altough it's far from perfect, I think it turned out just o.k. for the first time :)

I will definitely play with this set some more! :D

Thanks for dropping by!

***Disclosure: Some of the products in this post were sent to me by a company or PR for consideration.***

NOTD: I Wish I Were At The Coa(s)t Azure

Since yesterday I've been rocking Essie's Coat Azure from their Spring 2011 Collection. This is the only polish from this collection I've ordered so far, but I do want two more - Kisses & Bises and Topless & Barefoot.

It's a lovely blue polish with subtle shimmer. It's very good pigmented and goes on like butter. I don't think I have anything like this in my collection.

Take a look at this pretty shade:

Did you get anything from Essie's Spring Collection?

Swap & Venomous NOTD

I had an opportunity to do a swap with lovely Holiday at Silence is Loud. Please, take a look at her blog - she is amazing in free-hand nail art and I like her blog a lot!

Here are the goodies she sent me! :D

- Claire's Mood nail polish in Mellow/Crazy (my first colour changing polish)
- Claire's Glow In The Dark nail polish (I have never had a nail polish of this kind before)
- Claire's nail polish in Venomous

- L.A. Colors Color Craze in Radiation
- Wet 'n' Wild in Blue Moon
- Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe
- China Glaze Crystal Ball (the polish that started all *lol*)

Thank you very much, Holiday! :)

From the bunch above I've picked the Claire's nail polish in Venomous for today's NOTD. It's a gorgeous purple/green duo-chrome. It applies easily and dries fast. It needs 3 coats for full opacity, because it's a bit sheer.

On to the pictures...

And nails:

Thanks for stopping by!

NOTD: Way Of Life

The time flies too fast lately... So much stuff is going on now in my life, that I'm barely standing on my feet and I think I seriously need a break from it. Oh, well, that's just the way life is.

Aura Way Of Life, 2 coats:

When I saw this baby on a nail polish sale over at Ars Cosmetica Forum, I didn't think twice and grabbed it. It's a lovely purple shade with lots of shimmer

I know I'm terribly late with the announcement of the winner of the Monthly Contest - February. I apologize for that. I will reveal the winner and the prize tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience!

NOTD: Can You Ski And Yodel At The Same Time?

Long time no see, I know...

In the title I was asking, if you can Ski and Yodel at the same time? Well, I can! :D

Take a look!

For this manicure I used OPI Ski Teal We Drop and Yodel Me On My Cell for the accent finger. Both polishes are from OPI's Swiss Collection and I got them in a swap with lovely Jessika at Polish Insomniac.

I wish you all nice and successful week!
