Mineralissima Foundation Photos, Review & Swatches

Today's post will be about Mineralissima Mineral Makeup Foundation. I have included Mineral Primer and Chiffon Finish too, since I used them together with the foundation.

Products used in this post & their description:

Mineral Primer: A mattifying mineral primer suitable for the whole face but ideal for eye makeup.

My opinon: I recommend this primer to be used on oily areas of your face, if you're using it under the foundation, since it's mattifying primer.

Mineral Foundation 1.2 Neutral Light: Suitable for light skintones with neutral and warm undertones.

My opinion: This is very pale and neutral shade. It looks almost white on my skin. And there are even two lighter shades available. So if you have really fair skin tone, I'm pretty sure, you can find a match for yourself.

Mineral Foundation 2.0 Medium Light: Suitable for light and medium skintones with neutral undertones.

My opinion: I would describe my skin tone as a light (Winter) to medium (Summer) with yellow undertone. In the jar this foundation looked like a possible match for me, since it does have a slightest yellow undertone too, but once applied it looked neutral and was too light for me.

Mineral Foundation 3.0 Medium Warm: Suitable for medium skintones with warm and yellowish undertones.

My opinion: This shade has more of a peachy than yellow undertone, at least on my skin.

Chiffon Finish: An ultralight, silky mineral finishing powder. It is transparent and can be used alone or as a finishing touch after applying foundation. A must-have for a flawless-looking skin!

My opinion: This is probably the finest finishing powder I have tried so far. It is really so silky and it gives your face that "soft effect" look.

Foundation swatches:

Based on the foundation descriptions and swatches I have decided to try out Mineral Foundation in 2.0 Medium Light. Let's take a look how that turned out...

Here is my face before (not very pleasant sight, I know):

I started with applying Mineral Primer, but I used it only on my T-zone which is quite oily in my case. Afterwards I applied a layer of Mineral Foundation in 2.0 using EDM Flat Top brush and finished with a thin layer of Chiffon Finish. So, here is my face after:

Even if it doesn't look so, this shade was a bit too light for me in real life. But I really like the result - my skin tone looks pretty even, my red areas and some other imperfections are well covered (not completely though) and it feels like I don't have anything on my face.

Overall: If you like loose mineral foundation and you are looking for a one with light to medium coverage (coverage can be built), that feels weightless once applied and that gives you soft and natural look, you might want to check this one out.

Eyeko Cosmic Polish For Space Age Nails

Tukaj je še zadnji izmed Eyeko lakov, ki je pridno čakal, da vam ga pokažem ;) Danes vam tako predstavljam Eyeko Cosmic Polish For Space Age Nails.

Cosmic Polish je črn odtenek, v katerega so ujete drobne holografske bleščice. Brez težav se nanaša, popolnoma je prekriven v dveh slojih, obvezna oprema pa je nadlak, ker šele tako bleščice zažarijo v vsej svoji lepoti :)

Here it is the last Eyeko polish, that was patiently waiting to be presented here ;) So today I have Eyeko Cosmic Polish For Space Age Nails for you.

Cosmic Polish is a black shade filled with holographic micro-glitter. It applies without any problems and it is fully opaque with two coats. But you do need a layer of top coat over this one, because this will make the holo glitter particles shine in all their glory :)

Eyeko Vintage Polish For Elegant Nails

Danes vam predstavljam Eyeko Vintage Polish For Elegant Nails.

Vintage Polish je odtenek mint barve s krem finišem. Pri tovrstnih odtenkih je že skoraj moč pričakovati malo bolj težaven nanos - po prvem sloju deluje lak precej vodeno, po drugem je bil nanos še vedno rahlo neenakomeren, zato sem dodala še tretjega, da sem dosegla enakomeren in popolnoma prekriven videz.

Vintage Polish is a mint shade with creme finish. With shades like this you can almost expect a bit more difficult application - after first layer the polish looked quite sheer, after second one was the application still a bit uneven, so I have added a third layer to achieve totally even and opaque look.

Eyeko Rain Polish For City Nails

Drugi iz četice Eyeko lakov, ki čakajo na svojo objavo, je Rain Polish For City Nails.

Rain Polish je zanimiv odtenek - nežno modra barva s pridihom sive in komaj opaznim srebrnim sijajem (shimmer). Tekstura laka je super - prav kremasta in se super nanaša. Za popolno prekrivnost sem nanesla 2 tanjša sloja. Presenečena sem tudi nad hitrim sušenjem Eyeko lakov.

Next out the bunch of Eyeko nail polishes that are waiting for their own post is Rain Polish For City Nails.

Rain Polish is an interesting shade - light blue with a hint of grey and very subtle silver shimmer. Texture of this polish is great - creamy and it applies just great too. The polish is fully opaque with tho thin coats. And I'm really surprised how fast these Eyeko polishes dry.

Eyeko Vampira Polish For Gothic Nails

Izmed Eyeko lakov, ki sem vam jih pokazala tukaj, sem kot prvega izbrala Vampira Polish For Gothic Nails.

Vampira Polish je črn lak z rdečimi bleščicami. To je tudi prvi Eyeko lak, ki sem ga sploh kdaj preizkusila. Lak se lepo in enakomerno nanaša in za polno prekrivnost sem uporabila dva sloja - s tem, da je bil drugi sloj malo debelejši. Uporabila sem tudi sloj nadlaka, da so rdeče bleščice zasijale v vsej svoji lepoti :)

From the Eyeko nail polishes I showed you here, I've chosen Vampira Polish For Gothic Nails to be presented first.

Vampira is a black based polish with red glitter. It's also the first Eyeko nail polish I have ever tried. Application is very nice and even and I used two coats for full opacity - I did use a thicker second coat though. I've added a layer of top coat too, so the red glitter could really pop.

Quick Mineralissima EOTD

Just a quick look using Mineralissima eye shadows (swatched here):

Products used:
- Avon Anew Lifting Eyeshadow in Bare (a liquid e/s I most often use as a base)
- Mineralissima Cream e/s all over lid
- Mineralissima Latte in outer corner
- Mineralissima Amberina as a liner on the upper and lover lash line.

Please, ignore my horrible skin, since I haven't used any foundation for this look. Sadly, the lighting today isn't the best either and my camera always washes out colours a bit too...

Mineralissima Blush & Eyeshadow Swatches

Here are the swatches of my Mineralissima order I showed you here.

Blush:

Flirt is very light pink/beige shade with very little amount of shimmer. It was a bit hard to photograph this one as it's very soft and light shade

The eyeshadows:

I was really surprised how pretty Amberina is - warm brown with lots of sparkles. It is definitely my favourite from these. I love the Cream also, because it's the shade I can use in any colour combination. Latte is a nice golden/beige shade. And Illusion reminds me of Sweetscent Chameleon - dark brown that shifts to green. They are all very fine, good pigmented and easy to work with. Overall - I really like these.

Manshili Sweet Style Blush In Light Red Photos, Review & Swatches

As you may know by now I have a slightest addiction to blushes, higlighters & co. Today I have a cute blush sent to me by Born Pretty Store (the place to buy your nail art supplies) to show you. It's a Manshili Light Sweet Style Blush in Light Red which is available here along with some other shades for 3,04$/piece.

Let's take a look at the photos:

Swatches:

Manshili blush comes in a sturdy plastic packaging that has a very interesting way of opening - you have to pull out the top at one side (take a look at the third photo). The flower imprint that this blush has in the pan is so cute. Light Red is a matte shade which is quite good pigmented and it's nice to work with - applies evenly and it blends nicely too.

About the colour - in the pan it looks like more of a terracotta shade, but then swatched on my arm it looks more coral/peachy shade. Which is very pretty, but it's not exactly the shade I would call light red.

Mineralissima Mineral Makeup Mini Haul

Here in Slovenia we have another mineral makeup brand available - it's called Mineralissima. Yay! I really love mineral makeup, so I am always excited when something new pops up in our country.

Mineralissima is now available in a Slovenian web store Moja Drogerija. I did a little research and found out that Mineralissima is Netherlands based company that offers wide range of mineral makeup.

So, what did I buy:

Empty! #2

Today I have for you part 2 of my "Empty!" series.

It can be quite hard to collect five empty cosmetic packaging, but not becuse I would have troubles emptying them. I usually throw away empty packaging and remember that I might use it for the blog post when it's already too late. Anyway, let's take a look at which products I have finished lately.

1. Alverde Coffein-Shampoo Grüner Kaffee; around 2,5€.

I think this was my third bottle of Alverde Coffein-Shampoo. I have very sensitive scalp that can get irritated so easily and my hair is very thin and oily. So it is really hard for me to find a shampoo that actually works for me. And this one does. So far I'm satisfied with it - it gets the job done, it's gentle and cheap.

Repurchase: Yes.

2. Lush Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar; around 5€.

I must admit, I am not a Lush fan. I know many of you are, but I am not. My first experience was horrible. Couple of years ago when I have found out about Lush, I was really into it - it sounded so interesting and nice. After a lot of searching and reading about their stuff on the Internet, I went to their store and bought the biggest bottle of Yummy Yummy Yummy Shower Gel. I just couldn't wait to get into shower, because it smelled just divine. Boy, that didn't turn out well. I got some serious alergic reaction next morning - half of my body was covered with tiny red / blood dots. At first I didn't suspect that it's the shower gel, but after I used it again and whole story repeated, I knew what to blame. (Ooops, I apologize for this intermezzo.)

Anyway, I got this Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar, because I adore hot tubs. So the last time I was around Lush store I have decided to give it another try. I bought this bubble bath. It looked so cute - colourful and flower shaped. 100g packaging is enough for three times. I was not convinced this time either - there were lots of bubbles for sure, but the floral smell was a bit too much for me and my skin felt so dry even after a moisturizing lotion.

Repurchase: No.

3. Nuxe Tonific Deodorant; around 10€.

I never buy the same deodorant more than twice in a row. Either I get tired of the smell or I get the feeling my skin got use to it, sometimes I just like to try something new... But Nuxe Tonific Deodorant is one of my favourite deodorants. I have bought many bottles through the years. As it is a deodorant, not antitranspirant, you don't get that "all day dry feeling". In my case, I stay dry for couple of hours and then I usually repeat the application. I really like the smell of it too - it's subtle and nice. It doesn't leave any residue on the clothes. It's very gentle to the skin - I can use it right after shaving and I get no irritations.

Repurchase: Yes.

4. Essence Multi Action Mascara; 2,5€.

I'm sure there was enough said about this mascara on other beauty blogs. I like everything about it, but I am not an expert or very demanding when it comes to mascara. The price tag is what usually guides me when buying a mascara, especially when you suppose to throw away the mascara after three months or so.

Repurchase: Yes.

5. Eco Cosmetics Baby & Kids Body Lotion (with pomegranate and sea buckthorn); I think the original price was around 15€, but I bought when it was 70% off, so I paid around 4€.

This is a very rich and nourishing lotion. It smells nice (pomegranate, I guess), applies nicely, absorbs in the skin too, but it leaves some sort of layer behind - when you know you have something on your skin. It can be a bit too much for someone with normal skin like mine, especially now when the days are warmer. Maybe I should try it in the Winter time.

Repurchase: No.

How are you? Last couple of days we have a heat wave here in Slovenia. It's HOT.

I won't be very long today. I just want to show you my favourite lip gloss right now - L'Occitane Fleur Cherie Lip Shine in Ruban Rouge. Eventhough it's not the easiest lipgloss to work with, I really like this shade of red.

Very kind girl from Ars Cosmetica Forum bought them for me at her last trip to Kiko store in Italy.

Today I'm wearing Kiko 278 Viola Orchidea Microglitter. This one is gorgeous purple nail polish with pink micro-glitter. It has slightest purple / gold duo-chrome effect, but that is more noticeable in the bottle than on the nails.

Essence Ballerina Backstage & Nails In Style Trend Editions

At my last trip to DM drugstore I found two currently available Essence's Trend Editions - Ballerina Backstage and Nails In Style. I must say I'm not very thrilled about these two collection. I could even say I'm disappointed...

I bought Ballerina Backstage nail polishes only because of Gejba's swatches (and because I feel so sad and down lately and I thought buying stuff will help) *lol*

I did, however wanted Eye Soufflé in Pas De Copper too, but they were all used. Ugh, I know there aren't any testers for the soufflés, but do you really have to stick your fingers in those products that somebody wants to buy?! Grrr... Blush looked nice though, but it totally disappeared while I was trying to blend it on my hand.

About Nails In Style TE... I don't know what to say... I just didn't like it when I saw the display. And I have read that nail foils aren't very good. I don't even know why I bought the polish I did. Blah.

Gagalectric NOTD

Since yesterday I've been wearing the second Essence nail polish I have bought from their Meet Me @ holografics Trend Edition. It's a lilac duo-chrome shade called Gagalectric. Again, I was too lazy to layer this one over some other polish...

Avene Thermal Spring Water: I've mentioned it before - this is really versatile and a must have product in my skin care routine.

Sophyto Skin Care: Their products really works well with the skin like mine. As you may know, I have perioral dermatitis and Sophyto really helped me reduced PD areas. But sadly, they're quite expensive, so I only buy a product or two 1-2 times a year.

Nail polish: You should probably have seen this one coming *lol*. I really can't pick out any brand or anything, because there are so many pretty polishes out there.

Kiss Diamond Hard Strenghthening Basecoat: I've been using it for a couple of years now and it works for me.

BellaPierre Loose Mineral Foundation: I have tried many mineral foundations, but this one is my favourite.

Lily Lolo Flawless Matte Finishing Powder: Recently discovered and it instanly made it in the top ten.

NYX Round Lipstick: I have only few shades, but I reach for them really often.

Mineral eyeshadows by Meow Cosmetics and The She Space (sadly, TSS company doesn't exist anymore): Awesome colours, great pigmentation... I love them!

Alverde Calendula Lip Balm: Great lip balm, that is organic and cheap too.

Blushes, highlighters & co.: Well, you know I have a slightest obsession with cheek products... *lol*

NARS Pure Matte Lipstick In Bangkok

NARS Pure Matte Lipstick is described as:

"Bright. Bold. Vividly Matte. This innovative, matte lipstick has intense, stay-true color so lips look lush and vibrant. An exquisitely blended formula strikes a perfect harmony between optimal color, an ultra-matte finish and hydration."

NARS Pure Matte Lipstick is unscented (which I like it a lot), offers dense colour and is quite opaque. I own one Pure Matte Lipstick by NARS in shade called Bangkok. This one is very natural looking shade described as "a soft rose". I really like "matte" lipsticks, as they tend to look more natural on the lips, I think. Even though these lipsticks are supposed to be hydrating (they contain hydrating ingredients, such as: vitamin E, wild mango butter and acai oil), mine feels a tad dry once it's on the lips.

I bought mine from a girl who didn't like it for 7€ - this is what I call a good deal! :D
