Oh, yeah! I could totally Rock The World with this Orly nail polish!

I don't know how to describe this colour - it's something between plum/red/brown and it's just loaded with golden glass fleck sparkles. It's a bling-tastic nail polish for sure! It looks a bit more purple-ish in the real life, but then again, it always looks a bit different - depends on the lighting. It's in the same family as Zoya Faye, OPI It's MY Year, OPI Rally Pretty Pink.

Face

Make sure your Hairstyle matches your Face. Read below to find out which hairstyle is right for you...

Oval Shaped Face

An oval face is considered the perfect shape so a fringe for instance, will bring out your eyes.

Hair swept off the face will balance your nose whin a profile shot. If your hair is straight or curly, go with a style that works with that rather than trying to alter what you have. It will be easier to style daily.

Square Shaped Face

If you have longer hair and a square face, let it fall past the shoulders and allow some soft layers or a grown out fringe to fall around the temples. Even when pulled back, leave wisps around the face as will help to soften your look and make your face look more oval.

If your hair is shorter, elongate the face by going for height at the crown and keep a soft roundness in the silhouette.

Cut above or below the jawline just not on it. Always insist on layers, not single-length styles or center partings. This will always draw attention to a square face rather than softening it.

Round Shaped Face

With a round face the idea is to slim it down at the sides by changing the cut.

You can do this by keeping the sides close to your face and going for height on the top which will lengthen the appearance of the face at the same time. Hair brought forwards onto the face in soft wisps is flattering with shorter styles. Try your hair cut above the chin with shorter layers at the front.

Avoid full fringes, as they will make the face look smaller and rounder. Don't forget to take natural texture and your facial features into account.

Heart Shaped Face

Try your hair at around shoulder length and go for fullness from the chin down. Soft waves and layers work well to achieve this.

Side partings with hair drawn across on a slant work well to draw attention away from the chin. Keep the rest of your own features very much in focus and draw attention to your best bits.

Rectangle / Long Shaped Face

Go for width by shortening the face with a fringe just touching the eyebrows or try a side parting that sweeps across the face for an alternative to the full fringe.

Keep longer styles full and above the shoulders to avoid dragging your face down.

With shorter shapes, go for the classic wedge and other full-fringed shapes that give width and volume.

Today's NOTD - Essence Red-y To Go, 2 coats (photo overload!):

Essence Red-y To Go is an interesting nail polish - in the bottle it looks like a red shimmery shade that has slightest golden hue. On the nails it shifts between red and pink with occasional golden duochrome effect. Application is great and super easy, but it does leave a few brush strokes behind.

When faced with a cancer diagnosis, such as mesothelioma, women often experience a range of emotions that include depression and confidence issues. They worry about losing their hair and living their life before undergoing chemotherapy or other treatments. Women that are coping with a cancer diagnosis are recommended to focus on fashion and beauty to keep their spirits up and to remain powerful. Women should recognize that they could still be beautiful despite cancer.

Follow These Simple Steps to Improve Your Sense of Well Being

After a cancer diagnosis, your physician will provide a regimen for the patient to follow for treatment. Mesothelioma treatments destroy cancerous cells to stop the tumor from spreading to other body parts. The oncologist may suggest surgically removing tumors or using targeted therapy to alleviate the symptoms of mesothelioma. Surgery may be combined with radiation and chemotherapy to destroy any other cancerous cells.

Radiation. Radiation has fewer side effects than chemotherapy and is recommended for people of fragile health. Radiation is also used in conjunction with other treatments such as chemotherapy. Radiation is typically administered through a machine. This reduces the affects of bleeding, physical pain and shortness of breath.

Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy reduces the uncomfortable symptoms that a patient may experience. The drugs may be administered via a pill or through an injection. Oncologist may combine drugs to increase the results of the treatment.

After Cancer Regimen

After the treatment, a regimen must be followed to accelerate recovery times and long-term health. Patients are recommended to eat a balanced diet and maintain a healthy weight. Cancer survivors should also avoid tobacco and limit the amount of alcohol they intake. Other aspects of their regimens should include:

Exercise. Exercise helps cancer survivors to increase strength and endurance, while decreasing depression, anxiety and fatigue. The regimen should also improve mood and lift the self-esteem of the patient. Simple modifications of the exercise regimen may include taking the stairs instead of the elevator or walking 30 minutes each day. Five days of exercise per week is recommended. If you feel fatigued, rest and resume when you feel able.

Eat a Balanced Diet. The American Cancer Society recommends that cancer survivors eat five or more servings of fruits and vegetables in addition to whole grains every day. Healthy fats should be low in saturated fats. Recommended proteins include nuts, seeds, eggs and other legumes.

Conclusion

Caregivers of cancer patients should support them in their beauty regimen. They should encourage frequent salon and spa visits to uplift them before, during and after treatment. Studies have shown that beauty in conjunction with treatment builds a positive attitude and accelerates healing.

Nutty is a gorgeous shimmery taupe shade.
Kitten is super pretty too - lilac/lavender shade with golden shimmer.

While Nutty is very good pigmented, so soft and buttery, Kitten on the other hand is a bit less pigmented and more powdery. Swatches were made without any base underneath.

I've been looking at the bottles of Orly nail polishes from their Mineral FX Collection for Fall 2011 that Heather sent me in our last swap for the last two days. I mean, these are gorgoeus!

Today I'm wearing shade called Rococo A-Go-Go. Oh, boy! It was a very hard decision which one to actually put on the nails. LOL. Now, let's move on to the photos...

Orly Rococo A-Go-Go is pretty stunning nail polish! It's a mix of red-purple/plum base with copper/gold duochrome glass-flecked shimmer particles. Eventhough you don't get all of the fantastic duochrome effect that's visible in the bottle, it's still an awesome nail polish. I mean, look at it! It just glows.

In Preparation For A Cold One: Winter Beauty Tips

Winter brings with it particular beauty challenges. The cold weather can be hard on our skin, making it dry and red. It can be hard to know what to wear: keeping warm and staying stylish can be a challenge. And then there is the Christmas party season to contend with: everyone wants to look their best at the time of year in which it seems harder to look good than any other. Here are a few simple tips which will help keep you looking just as good in January as you do in June.

1. Moisturise

Even if you normally have well-balanced skin which doesn't need much moisturising, you should moisturise well in winter. The cold and wind, together with central heating, has a drying effect on the skin. It is pretty hard to make-up a flaky face well, so lack of moisturisation will end up making you miserable. Be kind to your skin and choose good quality day and night creams. Look for those with alpha-hydroxy acids in them - they tend to be most effective in boosting winter skin, but they're expensive so keep an eye out for coupons. Pick a day cream with sunscreen in it. Just because it's winter, doesn't mean your skin can't be harmed by the sun - it is the UVB rays which cause ageing, and they're still around. Don't forget your lips either. Nearly everyone gets chapped lips at this time of year, and they can be horrible - dry, sore and impossible to put lipstick on. A good quality lip balm applied twice a day should do the trick. On your body, go for lush, rich creams such as those with shea or cocoa butter in them, and see applying them as a treat: the gorgeous smells will give your mind a boost as well as your body.

2. Be kind to yourself

Leading nicely on from that, don't forget to treat yourself in other ways too. If the lack of sun is making you miserable, then a good home pampering session will help. Run a bath full of lovely moisturising bubbles and put on a thick, moisturising face mask while you soak. Slough off dead winter skin with a body scrub, paying special attention to feet, knees, elbows and anywhere else that tends to get especially dry.

3. Beautify from the inside-out

In winter, it can be tempting to fill up on stodgy food and drink too much alcohol. While there is nothing wrong with a bit of either, you need to consider your well-being too and eat a balanced diet. There are lots of good winter foods which will keep you feeling full and comforted as well as being healthy. The fatty acids found in eggs and oily fish are great mood lifters. Lentils and pulses make great warming stews and soups. Add chilli or other spices to food to give it flavour without fat. Keep your vitamin intake up with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables: they'll help you ward off winter colds and keep your skin and hair looking great. Also remember to drink enough water to counteract the effects of central heating.

4. Embrace winter style

You can look good in winter. Some people feel that they are natural 'summer' dressers and are thrown by winter clothes and make-up. The thing to remember when dressing for winter is not to try and fight the fact it is cold: go with it. Enjoy luxurious knits and soft winter coats. This winter, long coats, knee-high boots and hats are all on-trend - enjoy them. When it comes to party time, make an impact with sparkle and shine. Metallics are very much in this winter - so treat yourself to something shiny for Christmas. If money is tight, see if friends and family can buy you gift coupons in lieu of Christmas presents to help you get that special something in time for New Year's Eve. Winter make-up can be a real treat too. You can go bolder and thicker than in summer, when heat and sweat can cause sliding. Deep and bright colours such as burgundy, purple and dark green can work really well at this time of year. And don't be afraid to wear glitter - it will brighten up your face and your day.

Yeah, you're right! I just wanted a spectacular title for the first post of the new year. But the nail polish I'm wearing it's pretty spectacular too, though. Just so you know.

Which nail polish am I talking about, you ask?

Magnetic Spectacular Stone (2 coats):

Magnetic Spectacular Stone is a dark purple holographic shade (that sometimes look a bit brown-ish too). I got it from my fellow nail polish addict and blogger Colorful Bottle on our coffee date. Application of this baby was great and I could almost get away with one coat, but my hands were shaking a bit, so I have added a second coat. The only thing that slightly bothered me, was a long(-er) brush handle. So you have to be careful while trying to make a nice curve along the cuticle. Otherwise, Im loving it!

This will be a short post. Rant post. About me. And chocolate.

You know, I love chocolate! I could eat it every single day. Well, actually I do eat chocolate every day. Hmmm. Anyway, what I'm trying to say here, that some of my favourite chocolates and pralines (like Giotto) are no longer on the list of my favourite ones. Why?

Some of you may know, that I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for over a decade now. But this Summer, I've been thinking a lot about taking my vegetarianism to the next level, if I could say so. And I did - I've become a lacto-vegetarian and this means I don't eat anything that contains eggs anymore. That includes my previously beloved Giotto pralines (they contain egg white). So, now I'm reading ingredient lists even more carefully. No one ever said this is going to be easy... But there are lots of chocolates that don't contain any egg ingredients.

Sigh.

NOTD: OPI Unripened

I have already worn this polish recently, but somehow forgot to take photos of it. I wanted to wear it again today and this time I have a couple of pictures for you.

OPI Unripened was part of their Go Goth Mini Set (Halloween 2010) release. This one looks super pretty in the bottle - like a blue/purple duochrome, but sadly that doesn't actually show up on the nail. It's really just a blackened base with blue/teal/green larger shimmer.

Let's take a look at the photos:

I like this shade. The only thing I don't like are OPI's mini bottles. I really can't handle them well. There are couple of similar shades out there, like Sinful Colors What's Your Name and China Glaze Blk-bila-bong, if you're looking for a shade like this.

I've managed to finish another 5 cosmetic products. Let's take a look which ones!

1. Madara Anti-Cellulite Cream; Regular price around 25€, I've bought it for 12,75€ (50% off).

I didn't use this cream the way I "supposed to" (2x a day in combintaion with other products from this line), so I can't exactly say that I have noticed any changes and that my cellulite is reduced or gone. But I quite liked this cream - it has nice and soft texture, lovely and subtle smell, it applies smoothly and absorbs quickly too. My skin looked nourished and a bit firmer after using it. But there are a lot of cheaper products to use it daily after shower to keep my skin nourished, since I don't believe in anti-cellulite products anyway. Madara products have Eco-Cert certificate for natural and organic cosmetics.

Repurchase: Probably no. Well, maybe I would, if I got it for the same discount price.

2. Trevarno Propolis Ointment; I think the full price was around 15 or 16€, but I've bought it with 70% discount, so I have payed around 5€.

"The salve is great for sore, cracked & split skin including chapped lips, cracked heels & any rough skin, especially the elbows.
Propolis has anti-fungal properties which means it is excellent for treating athlete’s foot as well as nail infections."

I just loved the smell of this ointment! I have used this only for my feet and I must say they were very happy. This product has a very rich texture - basically oils in a solid form. So, yes my feet were very oily after using it, but it really helped me a lot with dry skin on my heels.

Repurchase: The same as above ^ - Probably no, since is a bit expensive for me. Well, maybe I would, if I got it for the same discount price.

3. Essence Oil Control Paper (Return to Paradise TE); I can't remember the exact price anymore, but I think it was around 2€.

Since I have oily T-zone, oil control papers are always in my bag. These papers were actually from Return to Paradise Trend Edition, but I think Essence has these in their standard line too. I use 1 or 2 papers to remove excess oil off my face and these work out just fine for me.

Repurchase: Yes.

4. Sophyto Dual Action Exfoliating Treatment; 32,90€.

The best exfoliator ever! Since I have perioral dermatitis and my skin can react very quickly, I usually avoid exfoliators, but this one is awesome. It has really interesting texture compared to the other exfoliating products - it's almost like water. It has really light watery texture and it's sort of yellow/brown coloured. 1 or 2 pumps are enough for entire face. I used it regulary every other day in the evening and the bottle lasted me for six month. My skin looked just glowy and not irritated at all after using it.

This is still the old packaging that contains 50 ml/1.7 us fl. oz. While the new one contains 30 ml of product and it costs 22,90€.

Repurchase: Yes! Actually I have already repurchased it just recently - click.

5. Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash; 19,90€.

I've been using this facial for about two years now. It's a part of my morning skin care routine. It's a pearly white gel with a hint of green. When I mixed it with water I get some foam, it's easy to apply and to wash off. Skin looks cleaned, refreshed and it doesn't dry out my skin. I love the smell - it's really like smelling lemon and tea tree - very refreshing and invigorating. Essential Care products are certified organic by Soil Association Organic Standard.

Repurchase: Yes, definitely!

I have noticed that I'm quite cheap when it comes to my body skin care, but when it comes to my face, I spend quite some money. But that's only because there aren't many products that would suit the crazy skin on my face.

Well, today she's back with another guest post, this time we're going to read about anti-aging tips for women. We all want to stay healty and young looking for as long as it's possible, don't we. Here are few tips how we can achieve this. Let's take a look...

Anti-Aging Tips For Women

Women have always gone above and beyond to look more beautiful and to appear to be younger. Today more than ever we are blasted by advertisements telling us that we should buy certain products that will do just that. The problem is that many of these products don’t work. We’re literally buying hope in a bottle. However, this is not always the case. There are many ways that we can look and feel younger and there are products out there than can help us on our way.

Get Rid Of Under Eye Circles:

Dark circles can make you appear to be tired and older than you really are. The best way to get rid of it is by taking vitamin K every day so that your skin gets balanced from the inside out. Applying fresh minced mint with a hint of lemon juice or applying chamomile tea bags to your eyes for ten minutes a day for two weeks can also help you out. However, if you choose to wear concealer to cover it up until the circle has diminished you should be sure to remove it as soon as you get home and especially before going to bed at night. The longer these cosmetics are on your skin the worse your skin will become.

Wear The Right Makeup Colors:

Sure bold eye shadow colors may be in fashion right now, but on a more mature woman it simply doesn’t work the way it does on a twenty something girl. Instead try different shades of taupe, gold, pink and brown to see which ones work best to make your eyes stand out and suite your style.

Go Easy On Accents:

Mascara and liquid liner are great for creating glamorous looks but you have to be careful with your technique one you’re over the age of 40. Skip the liquid liner and try a pencil one for a lighter and gentler touch. Toss the thickening mascara for one that gives your lasher a little bit of color without making them look overdone. The more simple the liner and mascara the more youthful you will appear.

Moisturize:

Purchase a good moisturizer that is made for your skin type. You’ll find that over the years your skin becomes drier so you should try moisturizers that contain glycerin so that they hold on to moisture. You should also look into skincare lines that contain fruit and flower extracts that will revitalize, tighten and moisturize your skin.

Use SPF:

No matter which season you’re in or how cold it is outside you must apply SPF to your skin every day. While we need vitamin D from the sun, too much of it can cause age spots and wrinkles. Protecting your skin from the sun is one of the most important things that you can do to keep it younger and stronger.

Eat Right:

Your skin needs proper nourishment to look its best. Start by drinking eight glasses of water daily so that you remain hydrated throughout the day and so that you can flush toxins out of your body. As far as food goes, stay away from foods that are high in fat. You should incorporate more lean meats, fat free dairy, whole grains and lots of fruits and leafy green veggies to your daily eating habits. Some people think that healthy foods have no flavor but this is totally untrue. Steamed veggies have just as much flavor as a plate of fries. You’ll find that by eating right not only will you feel better but you’ll look better as well.

Take Vitamins:

No matter how well we eat, we’ll never get the recommended daily amount of Vitamins B, C, E and K all of which help to give our skin a healthy glow and good elasticity. Therefore it is suggested that you should take a multi vitamin every day so that you get all of the benefits that these vitamins can give you. For best results take them in the morning rather than at night.

Exercise:

Time and time again research has proven that exercising regularly can keep us younger. A regular workout regimen helps to reduce stress so that your body feels firmer and fights unwanted fine lines and wrinkles. It also gets rid of the toxins that are floating around in our bodies causing our skin to look grey and dull. If you don’t like working out indoors then go for brisk walks outdoors. You’ll get the same results.

Sleep:

Before we have kids we can sleep like the dead. However once the cute little bundles of joys arrive sleep becomes a thing of the past because we’re always running to catch up with what we haven’t gotten done throughout the day. Your health is more important than anything else that you have to do and so you should go to bed early enough that you get your eight hours of shuteye. This way your stress level will go down, your eyes will be brighter, you won’t have such dark under eye circles and if you’re still worried about your chores you can have more energy to get them done tomorrow.

As a last resort there are procedures such as botox and laser treatments that you can do to look younger but they will only give you short term results if you don’t take care of yourself properly first.

Here is the last post about Lily Lolo samples I've received to swatch them for you. This time it's all about eyeshadows!

Let's take a look at the swatches (made without any base underneath; photos clickable as always):

African Violet: " A grey/purple mineral eyeshadow. Use with Parma Violet or Golden Lilac for a lovely twist on smoky eyes."

Cream Soda: "A soft matte creamy beige mineral eyeshadow. Cream Soda makes a great base for other mineral eyeshadows, and is a great colour for a natural daytime look."

Greyzie Daze: "A deep bluey grey eyeshadow with a matte finish. Perfect for adding depth to the sockets in the outer corners and makes a fabulous eyeline when applied wet. A great shade for smoky eyes."

Gunmetal: "A rich sparkly grey mineral eyeshadow. Great for smoky eyes."

Hush: "A matte, pale peachy pink. Makes a lovely wash over the eyelids, or apply in the inner corners to brighten and give a wide-eyed effect - a perfect daytime shade or for use as a base."

Miami Taupe: "A silky soft, smoky taupe eyeshadow - perfect for adding subtle definition to your eyes. With a slight shimmer and velvety finish Miami Taupe is one of our absolute favourites."

Moonlight: "A rich, luxurious and glistening chocolate brown eyeshadow, perfect for adding depth or makes a stunning eye liner."

Mudpie: "A rich matte brown mineral eyeshadow. Great used to deepen eyebrow colour with the angled brow brush."

Mystery: "A creamy matte grey/green mineral eyeshadow. Mystery makes a great all over wash colour as a base for smoky eyes."

Orchid: "A pretty soft white mineral eye shadow with a slight shimmer. Orchid makes a great highlighter."

Pink Champagne: "A subtle pink mineral eyeshadow with a hint of shimmer."

Soft Brown: "A soft matte brown mineral eyeshadow with pinky undertones. Soft brown is perfect for achieving the barely there natural look."

Lily Lolo eyeshadows are great in general - so soft, buttery and mostly great pigmented. My favourites when it comes to pigmentation and texture are Cream Soda, Moonlight and Orchid. I also really like African Violet, Greyzie Daze and Miami Taupe. The only disappointment was Mystery which is really poorly pigmented and it applies a bit uneven too.

Another post in the "Empty!" series. I have maganed to finish these five products recently:

1. Ombia Naturkosmetik Body Peeling Pomegranate; around 5€.

I think it was last Winter when Hofer put out some skincare products with BDIH certificat for natural/organic cosmetics. I've bought couple of handcreams and this body peeling (x2; I have got one more, yay!). But there were also shower gels, face creams and some other stuff. I guess this was a limited edition, because I haven't seen these products again later. I like my body peeling to be on a rough side and this one is just perfect. It smells like pomegranate, has jelly like texture with quite big peeling particles in it and it does amazing job. My skin feels so polished, smooth and soft after using this peeling.

Repurchase: Definitely yes, if these will ever be sold in Hofer again.

2. Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturizer; around 25€.

This is my favourite moisturizer for about two years now. And I can't say how much I love it. It has very light texture, it gets easily absorbed and leaves my skin moisturized, toned and a bit glowing. It has sort of gentle rose scent which isn't annoying at all. And it works really great under mineral foundation. It is certified by Soil Association Organic Standard.

3. Kiss Diamond Hard Strenghthening Basecoat; around 5 or 6€.

I've been buying this basecoat on the regular basis for the last two years, I think. It can be used as a strenghthening treatment and/or basecoat. I'm very satisfied with it. I dries in no time, gives a bit shine to the nail, it works well with all polishes I applied afterwards and it is B3F.

Repurchase: Yes!

4. Alverde Thalasso Feeling Shower Gel; 1,45€.

I have already said in one of my previous "Empty!" posts that I usually buy Alverde shower gels in differents scents, since they are cheap and certified natural/organic. This one has sort of fresh - supposedly sea like - smell and it contains Aloe Vera moisturizing pearls. Nice, refreshing shower gel and it does its job.

Repurchase: Yes.

5. Ebelin Nail Polish Remover (acetone free & almond scented); 0,85€.

I usually buy and use this nail polish remover (Ebelin is DM's house brand) when I do some swatches and don't wan to waste Afrodita oil-based remover. I think that's one of the cheapest removers I've tried that is still quite good and doesn't dry out my nails and cuticle too much.

Repurchase: Yes.

Lumiere Cosmetics Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

I'm back with another post about Lumiere Cosmetics. Today I have for you swatches of eyeshadows that were sent to me along with some other samples.

I must say I'm really impressed by the eyeshadows I've got - fantastic colours, amazing pigmentation... I only have three colours though: Chocolate Covered Cherries, Raspberry Truffle and Taupe, but I sure want some more.

Swatches (made with slightly damp applicator, because of the sparkles/glitter they contain):

Chocolate Covered Cherries is described as "medium deep berry brown with LOADS of cherry colored sparkles". When I opened this jar, my jaw almost dropped - I saw a gorgeous and rich brown shade full of sparkles. I don't have anything like this in my collection and I have a LOT if mineral make up.

Raspberry Truffle is "medium deep brown with LOADS of raspberry sparkles". Like with the Chocolate Covered Cherries, I was staring at the jar once I opened it. I just love brown eyeshadows and this shade is no exception.

Taupe is very special too. It's "gray, purple and brown all rolled into one" as the official description says and I couldn't say it better. I only wish I could captured how this shade shifts under the different angles.

All I can say, I fell in love with these eyeshadows. They are currently my nuber one - they even beat Meow Cosmetics & The She Space eyeshadows that were my favourite so far. As I said before - great pigmentation and awesome colours. I do recommend that you use some sticky base underneath because of the sparkles.

Lumiere Cosmetics Blush in Poppy & Wild Rose Photos, Review & Swatches

Finally I have some time to make swatches of Lumiere Cosmetics Mineral Makeup samples I've received recently.

I really like Lumiere Cosmetics website because they have everything so organised and easy to find - all the colours (blushes, eyeshadows etc.) are sorted in the separate groups and foundation colours are sorted by the skin colours and undertone.

Let's take a look at some photos and swatches, shall we. I'm going to start with blushes. I've got two shades - Poppy and Wild Rose:

Swatches:

Poppy is in the pink category and is described as "soft natural nude light pink". It's true. I would only add that this is a matte shade.

Wild Rose is in the peach category and described as "a subtle blend of burnished peach with a slight rose tone". I would agree with this description too. But this shade has a slightest shimmer in it and it's such a lovely shade!

You can get sample bag for 1$, sample jar for 2,50$ and large jar for 12$ at Lumiere Cosmetics.

Both blushes are very fine milled, so silky and easy to work with. These are both more soft/subtle shades with one swipe, but the application can easily be built and two or three layers give a nice flush of colour to the cheeks. I really like them both, but my favourite would be Wild Rose, because I just simply love shimmery blushes.

I've been picking apples again previous weekend and I'm going again tomorrow, so there isn't much going on here. I wanted to do some swatches on Monday and Tuesday, but the weather has decided not to cooperate with me...

My nails are so sad, sad looking at this time *shakes fist at those darn apples* They're really super short - they can't get any shorter, I guess. And have I mentioned before that they're so sad? But yesterday I wanted to paint then anyway and only appropriate colour seemed to be black.

On Monday afternoon I had coffee with my fellow blogger Mateja. She actually has two blogs, you might wanna check them out - a beauty one called Mateja's Nails and a creative one called Matejina Ustvarjalnica.

On our coffee dates we usually swap some nail polish or cosmetics, but on Monday she surprised me with this pretty little box she has made herself:

I'm Still Standing

Hi there!

I know I've been missing in action for the last few days, but I've been sweating my ass off on an apple plantation. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday I've been working for nine hours each day under the direct sun and picking apples. I got some really nice rashes on my hands, sunburns and I still feel a bit dehydrated and most of all I'm hungry ever since. Yay! But hey, this girl has got to make a living, right. I'll probably go again next few weekends, so if there won't be much going on here, you know why ;)

And yesterday I relaxed and tried to catch up with all the blogs I follow. There were hundreds of blog posts to read. I did managed to get through all of them somehow, but sadly didn't comment much. Sorry!

Now let's move on to the bright side... I'm already preparing some posts for you, so stay tuned!

Glitter & Ladybugs

I haz glittah too! :D

I haven't bought a nail polish or any make up for at least a month now, I think. And even though that Depend and some other brands are available here in Slovenia now, I haven't got nothing yet. I'm really not in a shopping mood anymore. Oh, wait! Is there something wrong with me? Did I catch any serious disease again (I've already had a blush fever)? So, I went to the doctor and he couldn't find anything. Hmm... Then I went to the bank and apparently there are some experts for condition like mine. They said I have an empty bank account. So, here I have it. At least I don't have any weird illness. LOL.

But just I couldn't resist the offer of my fellow blogger Elchy, when she said that she will order some KleanColor polishes and that I could join in. I turned my piggy bank arround and found some extra € and I said to myself: "What the hell, I need a nail polish or two. I can live without everything else." Oh, yes! There is still some old addict in me left. Maybe there is still hope for me.

And in the package Elchy has sent me were cute ladybugs too (along with some other pretty things). I won a pair of these in her Facebook giveaway.

Biba is happy now. I hope it will last.

Today I have for you a guest post that was sent to me by lovely Aleya and was written by Jesse Ortiz. The title of this post is "Your skin is precious". I think we should all be aware of the fact that our skin is precious. But sadly, as far as I can see, it isn't quite so. We do get aware of this, when we start facing any skin related problems. Like myself - I've been dealing with perioral dermatitis for years now. There are so many products I can't put on my face without getting a terrible reaction. Ugh... I would give anything to get my old and pretty skin back. But here are some useful tips how can you take care for your skin.

Your skin is precious.

Your skin is precious. It protects your body from infectious diseases and guards your body from the rain. It delights you when it’s tickled and makes you cry when it’s harmed.

Your skin is precious: so you need to learn how to protect it. And, at the same time, you need to make it glow.

The following are a few tips that can help you do both.

Clean your body, the right way: Wash your face, dry your hands and remove any traces of dirt every night. But do all this in a gentle manner: don’t scrape or burn your face with harsh towels or chemically enhanced creams. Be sure to pat your face and body dry, and to use a cleanser that’s right for you.

Put sunscreen all over: Sunscreen isn’t just for your face: it’s for your entire body. Your hands are exposed all day. Make sure they’re covered with sunscreen. Also, consider putting sunscreen on your lips during the hottest days. You’re lips are one of the most sensitive parts of your body: guard them well.

Remove all makeup: Every night you should peel off any makeup that you’ve left on during the day. Eye liner, blush, and even lip gloss: it all should come off so your skin can breath properly.

Pick the right moisturizer: Not all moisturizers were created equal. Pick the right one for your particular peculiarities, and not the one that’s the most popular. Of course, try to stick to natural skincare products.

Toner is your night time ally: Toner is great. It removes the day’s pollutants from your face, and allows your skin to breath. For best results, use toner right before bed. Using before bed insures that you get out as many pollutants as you can.

Exfoliate once a week: Exfoliation is crucial to create glowing, radiant skin. When you exfoliate, you scrub off the top layer of dead skin cells, helping your skin to breath. Do this once a week and your skin will thank you for it.

Stick to one type of makeup: There’s no need to clutter your pores with different kinds of makeup. Stick to only a few types. Adding more makeup to your face will only increase the likelihood that your pores will be clogged. And when you’re considering “types”, don’t forget to add sunscreen and moisturizer to the count.

Hydrate your skin by drinking water: Your skin replenishes its water supply in two ways: externally and internally. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day to ensure that your skin is moist internally - referring to the lower layers of skin.

Eat the right type of foods: While fried foods shine from grease, it’s the fresh fruits and vegetables that will really make your skin shine. And don’t eat too much of one type, either. Keeping a healthy balance ensures that your skin gets the proper nutrients.

Sweat and exercise: Exercise helps you sweat out the toxins in your body and it strengthens your skin’s connection with your muscles (making your skin stronger). Get in the gym and start exercising for your skin’s sake.

Hi there! I really didn't feel like blogging for the last week or so. There were so many things that made sad and make up was the last thing on my mind.

But, for the last three days I've been wearing Catrice Purplelized on my nails, so I can at least show you some pictures of it. This polish is really interesting, unique and hard to describe. It's sort of purple silver-y shade and so super packed with shimmer/micro-glitter that gives it almost a foil like finish.

Red Creme Comparison

A while back hermetic asked me, if I could compare few Essie's red creme nail polishes. So, this post is for you, hermetic :)

I went through my stash and realised that I have only got four of them and here are they:

First dance, Limited Addiction, Red Nouveau, Silken Cord

If the difference between them is quite visible in the bottles, it was very hard to captured it under the strong sun once the polishes were on my nails:

But they are all different in real life. I tried to capture the difference in their undertones:

First Dance is a true red polish that has jelly like consistency. Limited Addiction is darker, blue-based red with the same texture as First Dance. Red Nouveau is warm, orange-based red shade with creme texture. While Silken Cord is more on the coral side - it has obvious pink undertones in real life and more jelly like formula.

I hope this helpful in any way.

P.S. I just hate what Blogger does to the quality of uploaded photos.

Here is another post in my "Empty!" series. Let's see which products I have finished recently:

1. Ebelin Maxi Cotton Pads; around 0,80 €.

My favourite cotton pads! I use them for removing make up & nail polish, applying toner etc. They are larger than regular ones, oval shaped and made of 100% cotton. Evethough they are so compact, are still soft, they don't leave any mini fibers behind and you can use them on both sides (each side is meant for a different purpose).

Repurchase: Oh, yes!

2. Alverde Oriental Feeling Shower Milk with Macadamia & Karite; 1,45€.

I usually buy Alverde shower gels in various versions, since they are cheap and have a certificat for natural/organic cosmetics. This one has the same smell as their body butter which I really like a lot. So this one smells nicely, doesn't give much foam (but I don't mind that) and the important thing - it doesn't dry out my skin even if don't apply body lotion or something afterwards.

Repurchase: Yes.

3. Ikove Organic Amazonian Acerola Bath & Shower Gel; the original price was 9,90€, but I bought it 50% off, so it was 4,95€ I think.

I used this only when I took hot baths. I really enjoy having hot bath once a week, evethough this probably isn't very good for the skin. I've noticed that all Ikove products have very special smell - either you like it or you don't. I like it. They have sort of herbal scent - they contain rosemary, which hazel etc. And this one has a similar scent with the touch of something more citrus-y. It foams nicely, I love the scent and it is also certified with Ecocert certificat and Fair Trade.
Repurchase: If I ever find it again for 50% off yes, otherwise no.

4. Avon Anew Beauty Lifting Eyeshadow in Bare; I can't even remeber how much this was - I think the original price for these is 11€, but I bought it for a few € less, around 8 or 9€.

I've had this liquid eyeshadow for at least a year and half. It was my most used base for eyeshadows (luckily I have a back up of this one, since this shade is no longer available here). The texture is smooth, velvety and easy to blend. I applied it with the brush applicator to the lid and then blend it with my fingers. It looks a lot like a concealer - natural beige shade that matches my skin almost completely. I've never had any problems with eyeshadows I used over this - whether they were loose or pressed, they all blended nicely and lasted the entire time I've had them on.
But since I've never used this liquid eyeshadow on it's own, I can't say anythig about the staying power and creasing when worn like this.
Except the tube isn't very practical - it's a solid plastic tube that you can't squeeze or cut, so there is still some product left in there, but I can't get it out

Repurchase: I would, but I do have an extra tube and since this shade is no longer available, I can't.

5. Afrodita Aroma Oil-based Polish Remover; around 2,80€.

This is my favourite nail polish remover. I like oil-based removers, since they don't dry out my nails and sort of glide more smoothly over the nails. This one gets the job done quickly, easily, without too much rubbing and my nails and cuticle don't feel dry after using it. It's not the cheapest on the market, but definitely the best in my opinion. And it's a product made in Slovenia.

Repurchase: Yes!

Do you buy any seasonal collections by leading beauty brands or any selected items from these collections - we all know the hype over Chanel nail polish last few of seasons, don't we?

Beauty Trends For Fall 2011

Have you had a chance to check out the hot beauty trends for fall 2011? I'm so excited about the rich colors and bold looks.

Stand Out Eyes

There are three big trends that we’re seeing for the eyes alone. First, is metallic colored eye shadow which is not only shown for evening wear collections but for daytime as well. Next, fatten up the lines that you draw with your eye liner by drawing thick bold lines instead of thin ones. Most designers are using black, but there are some who are using bright colors as well. Finally top it off with mascara that makes your lashes look like long skinny spider legs (so much for finding a thickening mascara).

Pow Lips

In a word: RED. Any shade of red that you can think of is going to be in for fall. Choose from bold dazzling true red to a sophisticated sultry berry red.

Soft Cheekbones

Lightly apply some pink blush high up on your cheekbones to look as if you’re a tad bit flushed. Don’t overdo it because the point is to look innocent.

Braid Away

The ultimate way to get an innocent look (after you’ve applied blush) is to wear your hair in braids. Wear them up, down, to the side, half done, in a ponytail, maiden style, any style.

Go Boy

Since menswear is back are is the beauty trend that goes with it. Apply some neutral makeup and either cut your hair or put it back for a toned down boy look. If you want to go punk try spiking you hair (the way 20 something guys look when they roll out of bed) and apply that thick liner we spoke about earlier.

Finger Nails

So many choices so little time. Nail trends include sheer nail polish (goes great with the menswear trend), metallic nail polish in dark shades and all sorts of French manicure designs.

Ponytails

Ponytails are everywhere. The trick to this falls ponytail style is that you have to iron your hair to get it as straight as possible and then pull it back. Whether you should wear it high up or by the base of your neck is really up to you.

Sleek Eye Dust Swatches

Eyeko Cheeky Colour in Make Out Blush Photos, Review & Swatches

Today I have for you some photos and swatches of the second Eyeko blush I've received for review purposes.

Eyeko Cheeky Colour Make Out Blush is described as: "Make Out Blush - Make your cheeks pop with 3D pink colour loaded with pearl to give a 2 in 1 colour and highlight effect."

Eyeko Cheeky Colour Make Out Blush is definitely my favourite of these two. The colours are lovely - on the left is pink/rose shade with silver shimmer/sheen and on the right is red shade with pink undertone that is noticeable less shimmery - so both colours are shimmery, but not as much as in Glow Getter Blush. Mixed together they look just beautiful. The blush looks quite strong in the pan and it's actually very good pigmented, so you can easily overdo. But since it's finely milled and very easy to blend this shouldn't be any problem. The texture is the same as with Glow Getter Blush - baked and not very soft.

About the packaging - I can just copy/paste my opinion from my yesterday's review: Blush comes in a cute but bulky plastic container that has extra compartment for the brush that is enclosed and there is a mini mirror in that compartment too. I usually don't like brushes that come with cheek products and this one is no exception - it's too small and a bit scratchy.

Eyeko Cheeky Colour in Glow Getter Photos, Review & Swatches

As promised in this announcement, here is the first of two Eyeko's blushes I'm going to show you.

Eyeko Cheeky Colour Glow Getter has two sides: "Pale iridescent pink, perfect for a pinch of colour for pale skinned beauties or as flattering highlighter for dark skinned honeys." (official description)

What do I think about Eyeko Cheeky Colour Glow Getter? Lovely pink shades, both colours are very shimmery - maybe a bit too much for my taste. It's good pigmented - the lighter shade is pretty much a highlighter, but the darker one (or both blended together) gives a nice flush of colour to my cheeks. Since this is baked pressed powder, the texture isn't so soft, but it's comparable to the other baked blushes I own. The texture is very fine and easy to blend though.

Blush comes in a cute but bulky plastic container that has extra compartment for the brush that is enclosed and there is a mini mirror in that compartment too. I usually don't like brushes that come with cheek products and this one is no exception - it's too small and a bit scratchy.

NYX Powder Blush in Red Photos, Review & Swatches

NYX Powder Blush in Red was also a part of my last order at Moja Drogerija (Slovenian web store). I've been looking for a red blush for quite sometime now. And eventhough I've bought Alverde Mineral Rouge in Cherry recently - which is loose mineral powder, I wanted one in a pressed powder form as well. So I ordered this one.

When opened the package with my order and I saw this blush, I was like: "Uhmmm, it looks quite terrifiying and loud!" Well, it is! LOL.

NYX Powder Blush in Red isn't exactly a true red, but it has slight pink undertone and it's a matte shade. It's definitely very highly pigmented, so light hand is recomended when applying this blush. The texture is quite smooth and soft, but it takes some effort to blend it properly.

The packaging, again nothing special - a bit cheap looking plastic container, but sturdy and functional.

NYX Trio Eyeshadow in Lake Moss Photos, Review & Swatches

NYX Trio Eyeshadow in Lake Moss was the only one of these trio palettes that caught my eye. I ordered it last week in Slovenian web store Moja Drogerija (they have expanded the range of NYX products, so I snapped a few bits).

I like this palette and colour combination (it reminds a bit on UD The Black Palette). Eyeshadows are soft and easy to work with. Only with the dark green shade I had experienced some fall out. The shadows are good pigmented too, but they come truly alive with the eyeshadow base underneath.

About the packaging - the plastic looks a bit cheap, but it's functional and quite sturdy on the other hand. There is also a mini and narrow mirror included, but I don'd find it very useful.

02 Back To the 50's is a classic red creme. Pretty and easy to apply. Here it is in two coats:

05 You're A Heartbreaker truly is a heartbreaker. Eventhough it looks nice in the bottle, I didn't expect I will like this one so much on the nails. It's like a shimmery grey under certain angle and light, but sometimes it looks blue too.

NOTD: Essie First Dance & Nfu Oh 46

I've worn Essie's First Dance, my favourite from their Wedding Collection 2011, as my full manicure for a couple of days. And today I have decided to layer some flakies over it. I haven't used flakies for quite some time now, so this was the perfect opportunity to finally try Nfu Oh 46.

The effect looks a bit subtle on the photos, but in real life my nails look like they are on fire :D

Essie Wedding Collection 2011: First Dance & Made To Honor

Tukaj je še drugi del Essie Wedding Collection 2011, v katerem vam bom predstavila odtenka First Dance in Made To Honor.

Here is the second part of Essie Wedding Collection 2011 and in this one I'm going to show you these two shades: First Dance and Made To Honor.

First Dance je meni najljubši odtenek iz te kolekcije. Obožujem rdeče lake in ta je čudovit! Maže se super, ima rahlo jelly teksturo - zato so konice še vedno rahlo vidne po dveh slojih, rezultat pa je krasna in živahna rdeča barva (ja, vem, da sem to že rekla, ampak Essie zagotovo zna narediti dober rdeč lak).

First Dance is my favourite colour from this collection. I love red nail polish and this one is gorgeous! It applies so smooth, has a slightly jelly texture - so nail line is still a bit visible after two coats and the result is a beautiful and bright red (yes, I know I've said it before, but Essie sure knows how to make a great red nail polish).

Made To Honor pa je še drugi klasični odtenek v tej kolekciji. Gre za prosojen "nude"/bež odtenek, ki se podobno kot Better Together nanaša rahlo neenakomerno, ampak z drugim slojem se da nanos lepo izravnati. Ta mi je bolj všeč kot omenjeni Better Together, ker je topel odtenek in mi zato bolje pristoji.

Made To Honor is the second classic shade in this collection. It's a sheer nude/beige shade that applies similar as Better Together - slightly uneven after first coat, but with the second one you can easily even out the application. I prefer this one over Better Together, because it's a warm shade and goes better with my skin tone.

How To Choose The Right Foundation For Your Skin

Today I have something special for you - the very first guest blogger on Biba's Beauty Corner! Lovely Aleya writes the blog for Manhattan beauty school--Hair Design Institute and she has been kind enough to prepare the guest post about how to choose the right foundation for our skin. We all know how much trouble could this be... If I look at some of my old photos, it is more than obvious that I have worn a foundation which was way too light for me. LOL.

How To Choose The Right Foundation For Your Skin

Wearing the right foundation can help your makeup last longer, look more natural and can make you look more vibrant. If you’ve never tried on foundation before or if you’re not sure that they shade that you’re wearing is the right one for you check out our easy to follow how to select foundation guide.

• Different skin types call for different foundations so know your skin type. Oil free foundations are good for oily skin. Creamy foundations are best for people with dry skin. People with combination skin should use an oil free foundation that is moisturizing so that they don’t dry out their skin and don’t make it greasy.

• Next, decide on the finish that you want the foundation to have. A sheer tinted foundation acts as a base and good for covering pimples and blackheads. If you want your skin to have a nice glow try a satin finish, but if you prefer your skin not have any shine at all, a matte finish is best.

• It’s important to test the color of the foundation on your jawline or neck rather than your hand or wrist because you will be using it on those areas. There’s no point in trying out makeup on an area that you don’t plan on actually wearing it because it will look completely different.

• When you first apply the foundation be sure to blend it into your skin so that it disappears. If it doesn’t disappear try another color. You will know if you need to go up or down a shade based on how light or dark the foundation looks on your skin.

• Once you found a color that looks like it’s one with your skin tone go outside to see how it looks in natural light. You will need a small mirror to do this.

• If you’re still unsure, get a sample of the color(s) that you’re interested in from the department store and try it out at home. You can also ask a sales associate to help you out. Most sales people are very friendly and are trained to pick out the best foundation for your skin tone and type.

If you don’t find the right foundation on your first try just try again. There are so many brands out there that you’re sure to find at least one that you’ll like.

Essie Wedding Collection 2011: Better Together and Borrowed & Blue

Essie Wedding Collection 2011 je zanimiva mešanica dveh klasičnih oziroma tradicionalnih poročnih odtenkov in dveh bolj netradicionalnih in drznih odtenkov.

Danes imam za vas prva dva laka iz omenjene kolekcije, in sicer vam bom predstavila Better Together in Borrowed & Blue.

Essie Wedding Collection 2011 is an interesting mix of two classic or traditional bridal shades and two non-traditional and edgier shades.

Today I have for you the first two polishes from this collection. I'm going to show you Better Together in Borrowed & Blue.

Better Together je prosojen svetlo roza odtenek. Po prvem sloju izgleda rahlo neenakomerno, ampak z drugim debeljšim slojem sem nanos izravnala (res mi je všeč čopič pri Essie lakih). Čeprav je ta odtenek bolj prosojnemu končnemu videzu, se da doseči tudi popolno prekrivnost po štirih slojih ali pa s tem, da ga nanesete preko bele podlage. Lak se pri dveh slojih hitro posuši. Vsekakor je to eden izmed tistih klasičnih odtenkov, po katerem neveste pogosto posežejo.

Better Together is a sheer pale pink. This one goes on slightly streaky after first coat, but I even the application with thicker second coat (I really like the Essie's brush). Altough this is meant to be sheer, you can reach full opacity with four coats or with layering it over white base. The drying time was good at two coats. This is definitely one of those classic shades that brides pick often.

Borrowed & Blue je krem in prekriven svetlo modri odtenek. Tekstura tega laka je precej gosta in po prvem nanesenem sloju izgleda neenakomerno, ampak tudi pri tem se da z drugim slojem vse lepo izravnati. Vsekakor bolj nenavaden odtenek za poroko...

Borrowed & Blue is a creme and opaque baby blue shade. The texture of this one is on the thicker side and it also looks streaky after first layer, but after the second layer it looks nice. Definitely more edgier shade for the wedding...

What is The Fresh Air Fund?

"THE FRESH AIR FUND, an independent, not-for-profit agency, has provided free summer vacations to more than 1.7 million New York City children from low-income communities since 1877. Nearly 10,000 New York City children enjoy free Fresh Air Fund programs annually. In 2010, close to 5,000 children visited volunteer host families in suburbs and small town communities across 13 states from Virginia to Maine and Canada. 3,000 children also attended five Fresh Air camps on a 2,300-acre site in Fishkill, New York. The Fund’s year-round camping program serves an additional 2,000 young people each year."

They need some help:

"The Fresh Air Fund is in need of host families for this summer. Host families are volunteers who open their hearts and homes to children from the city to give them a Fresh Air experience that can change lives. If you could help to get the word out it would really help us place these wonderful children into a loving host family. NOTD: Deborah Shine Tech 60 & Monthly Contest Winner

I have become more interested in Deborah Milano nail polishes when I saw some great swatches on other blogs. So, I have bought few of their polishes in the last couple of months, but somehow didn't get to them earlier. This is about to change now...

Today I am going to show you Deborah Milano Shine Tech nail polish Nr. 60. Shine Tech polishes have a short and wide brush. Those I've tried are easy to apply and dry pretty fast too.

Nr. 60 is an awesome purple shade packed with golden flass-flecked shimmer. It reminds me of OPI It's My Year that came out as the part of Miss Universe Collection, but I don't have that one, so I can't do a comparison here.

Mineralissima Foundation Photos, Review & Swatches

Today's post will be about Mineralissima Mineral Makeup Foundation. I have included Mineral Primer and Chiffon Finish too, since I used them together with the foundation.

Products used in this post & their description:

Mineral Primer: A mattifying mineral primer suitable for the whole face but ideal for eye makeup.

My opinon: I recommend this primer to be used on oily areas of your face, if you're using it under the foundation, since it's mattifying primer.

Mineral Foundation 1.2 Neutral Light: Suitable for light skintones with neutral and warm undertones.

My opinion: This is very pale and neutral shade. It looks almost white on my skin. And there are even two lighter shades available. So if you have really fair skin tone, I'm pretty sure, you can find a match for yourself.

Mineral Foundation 2.0 Medium Light: Suitable for light and medium skintones with neutral undertones.

My opinion: I would describe my skin tone as a light (Winter) to medium (Summer) with yellow undertone. In the jar this foundation looked like a possible match for me, since it does have a slightest yellow undertone too, but once applied it looked neutral and was too light for me.

Mineral Foundation 3.0 Medium Warm: Suitable for medium skintones with warm and yellowish undertones.

My opinion: This shade has more of a peachy than yellow undertone, at least on my skin.

Chiffon Finish: An ultralight, silky mineral finishing powder. It is transparent and can be used alone or as a finishing touch after applying foundation. A must-have for a flawless-looking skin!

My opinion: This is probably the finest finishing powder I have tried so far. It is really so silky and it gives your face that "soft effect" look.

Foundation swatches:

Based on the foundation descriptions and swatches I have decided to try out Mineral Foundation in 2.0 Medium Light. Let's take a look how that turned out...

Here is my face before (not very pleasant sight, I know):

I started with applying Mineral Primer, but I used it only on my T-zone which is quite oily in my case. Afterwards I applied a layer of Mineral Foundation in 2.0 using EDM Flat Top brush and finished with a thin layer of Chiffon Finish. So, here is my face after:

Even if it doesn't look so, this shade was a bit too light for me in real life. But I really like the result - my skin tone looks pretty even, my red areas and some other imperfections are well covered (not completely though) and it feels like I don't have anything on my face.

Overall: If you like loose mineral foundation and you are looking for a one with light to medium coverage (coverage can be built), that feels weightless once applied and that gives you soft and natural look, you might want to check this one out.

Eyeko Cosmic Polish For Space Age Nails

Tukaj je še zadnji izmed Eyeko lakov, ki je pridno čakal, da vam ga pokažem ;) Danes vam tako predstavljam Eyeko Cosmic Polish For Space Age Nails.

Cosmic Polish je črn odtenek, v katerega so ujete drobne holografske bleščice. Brez težav se nanaša, popolnoma je prekriven v dveh slojih, obvezna oprema pa je nadlak, ker šele tako bleščice zažarijo v vsej svoji lepoti :)

Cosmic Polish is a black shade filled with holographic micro-glitter. It applies without any problems and it is fully opaque with two coats. But you do need a layer of top coat over this one, because this will make the holo glitter particles shine in all their glory :)

Pri tovrstnih odtenkih je že skoraj moč pričakovati malo bolj težaven nanos - po prvem sloju deluje lak precej vodeno, po drugem je bil nanos še vedno rahlo neenakomeren, zato sem dodala še tretjega, da sem dosegla enakomeren in popolnoma prekriven videz.

Vintage Polish is a mint shade with creme finish. With shades like this you can almost expect a bit more difficult application - after first layer the polish looked quite sheer, after second one was the application still a bit uneven, so I have added a third layer to achieve totally even and opaque look.
